First Aid Course Southport is part of Safe Haven Training Ltd, a nationally recognised first aid training provider delivering accredited qualifications to businesses, schools, and individuals across the UK.
Safe Haven Training was founded in 2012 by Ian Bryan, a former NHS paramedic and County Air Ambulance responder with over 30 years of frontline emergency experience.
He built this organisation around a single belief: that life saving skills should be practical, affordable, and available to everyone.
Here in Southport, that belief shapes every course we deliver.
From the hospitality businesses on Lord Street to the nurseries, schools, and care homes serving the communities of Sefton and West Lancashire, every organisation we train leaves better prepared than when they arrived.

Our Journey
Before founding Safe Haven Training, Ian Bryan spent over 30 years as an NHS paramedic and County Air Ambulance responder across the Midlands and beyond.
He responded to thousands of emergencies, worked alongside some of the best emergency care professionals in the country, and saw first hand what bystander intervention or the absence of it means for the people involved.
